At Here’s the Story, we are always looking for new ways and new places to share stories. And so Sept. 8th and 9th you will find us at the Chicago Renegade Craft Fair. We will have artwork available from various artists. Artists like, Amy Kuttab, Kenton Quatman, Brandon Knowlden, Caitlyn Eakins, Jennifer Parks, Rachel Howard, and Aria Alexander-Manifold! Just to name a few.

Yeah, last year we had an amazing ChicagoRCF experience, and this year, we said, “We owe them a booth for such an adventure.” Also, we are total crafty crafters, not to mention we know that slew of artists listed above.

It’s true that the cost of shipping and cotton on T-Shirts has gone up. That said, there are a number of shirts we have left from long ago and we are keen to sell out.
So next month we are bringing back the Strawberry Head T-shirt for a limited time and to incentivise buying the final ones we have dropped the price to eight dollars.
This design is one of my favorites. It was done by Amy Kuttab who has done a number of cool works for us, the most famous of which is the Telling Fire. Which is one of the few Here’s the Story pieces we have in our collection as originals.

Here is a look at our financial statement. And I want to take this time to talk a little bit about how things were factored and what our goals are for this year and moving forward into the future.
First though, I am going to say we are a little humbled looking at this. Certainly we are a not-for-profit and as such money isn’t our primary goal, telling stories is.
