Story Luck
At these events we endeavor to bring you four featured storytellers and four open story swap tellers, tellers who have something to share with you. A story that was meant specifically for someone in the audience.
We want to bring together people who wouldn’t normally get the chance to cross paths and put them together on stage because that’s where the magic starts.
Everyone in the theater gets 40 points to split up as they see fit amongst the open swap tellers. This allows you to help be an artistic director. You see, we invite the person with the most points back to feature next month.
What’s the difference between a walk up teller and a feature? Not much. Features get 10-12 minutes. Open swap tellers get 5-7 minutes. Each person who comes to tell a story brings the story they are meant to tell that day.
Sometimes fictitious, sad, confused, joyous, bawdy, or filled with important facts the storytellers always bring their A game.
All of our shows are potlucks and this is no different.

The next season will resume in January 2015. Our plan is to have a big update sometime after the Oct. 4th Journey to the End of the Night show. I’ll email some more.
