This is our first anniversary. Say what? It’s true and we are really excited to celebrate all the cool that HtS, with your help, has brought to the world. Be it prizes, stories, events, specific features, or just a little bit of awkward charm. Even more than that, we’re excited to remember and celebrate all that you’ve brought to us, through open story swaps and walk up tellers. So many cool stories and experiences. Thanks, guys.

Cameron Esposito has been featured on NPR, LOGO & WGN radio. Her storytelling show, SIDE MULLET NATION (Time Out New York, Time Out Chicago Critic’s Pick), has run in Chicago & New York & debuted at TBS’ Just for Laughs Chicago Festival in 2011. Check here for more info & upcoming shows.
Jeff Gandy is happy to be a part of Here’s the Story as he as always enjoyed telling and hearing a good story. As a performer he has been a part of many teams at iO and the sketch group The Fowler Family as well as being a frequent host at the StandDown open mic. Recent directing credits include All Pants on Deck, Montgomery & Cooke and choreographer for Vaudeville Vivat! He is the manager of the Youth & Education Program at The Second City, part of the teaching staff at Old Town School of Folk Music and can sometimes be found teaching kids to tap dance at Joel Hall Dance. If you see him walking down the street or on the el please feel free to say hi.
Dave Jennings
is an actor, director and improviser living in Chicago. He is a Faculty member of the Second city training Center and has trained and performed at The Annoyance Theatre, iO, The Playground Theatre, The Brave New Workshop Comedy Theatre, and ComedySportz Twin Cities. Dave has been a storyteller for a long time, and he really truly loves a good conversation. Follow him on twitter.
Emily Walker hails from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. She has studied improv, sketch comedy and musical improv with The Second City and I.O. She’s performed in numerous sketch and improv shows all over Chicago and in NYC, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Louisville and Nashville. She is a part of the The Second City’s Training Center’s House Ensemble, with whom she performed Six Degrees of Desperation. She is honored to spend her endless summer performing for The Second City on The NCL Spirit and EPIC. She and Chelsea Devantez make up the musical comedy duo “Ding!” She would like to thank Second City for this amazing opportunity.
Bill Larkin is an actor, comedian and pianist. He performs regularly at the Howl at the Moon piano bar in Chicago. Other Chicago credits include the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Drury Lane Water Tower Theatre), Mere Fluff (Annoyance Theatre), Poppyseed Lane (Theatre Building Chicago), and Bill’s Family
