Your favorite potluck show is always a crowd pleaser. There will be 4 walk-up story tellers and 4 featured story tellers.
Walk up tellers get 5 minutes to tell a story from their hearts. It can be fiction, poetry, or an interpretive dance. The only thing we require is that you be off book. (No notes!)
Featured tellers get 8-10 minutes.
Though the stories are always a surprise to the audience, somehow there is a theme always seems to emerge. It is serendipitous. The stories, may emit tears, or laughter, or be thought provoking, but for sure they will be a good time.
Story Luck shows are a community experience. Gathering to tell stories and share food has always been a feature of the show and communities at large. Come with your friends, but be willing to meet people and come away with a new friend and a new understanding of the humanity in all its glory.
Story Luck is a 501 (c) (3) with the mission to teach storytelling and to let everyone know that they are welcome to share their stories during the gathering at Story Luck shows.
