For Carolyn, storytelling is more than simply sharing a story. It is a way of bringing people together, exploring creativity, and creating moments that stay with us long after the curtain closes.
With a career spanning theatre, directing, teaching, and storytelling, Carolyn has spent years helping stories come to life both on stage and within communities. Her passion for the performing arts has taken her from theatre productions to classrooms, libraries, and senior centers, where she continues to share her love for creative expression with audiences of all ages.
She holds a BA in Theatre from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and an MA in Interdepartmental Speech from Northwestern University. She has directed over 50 plays and musicals across Chicagoland. Carolyn is a founding member of GreenMan Theatre Troupe and has taught storytelling and theatre arts in a variety of settings, from schools to libraries and senior centers. Her stories reflect a deep appreciation for community and creativity.
This October, Carolyn brings that wealth of experience and her unique perspective to the Story Luck stage. Expect a story shaped by a lifetime of theatre, connection, and a genuine belief in the power of sharing our experiences.
