Some stories make you laugh. Some make you pause. And then there are the stories that somehow manage to do both. This October, Story Luck welcomes a storyteller who has a knack for finding the funny, the strange, and the deeply human in the everyday.
Meet Bee Ricketts, a poet and comic whose unique perspective brings together sharp observations, playful humour, and a genuine curiosity about the human experience. Hailing from rural Northern California, Bee has spent years capturing her thoughts on paper and, more recently, bringing those observations to life on stage.
Bee Ricketts is a poet and comic who hails from rural Northern California. Bee enjoys large bodies of water, tangents, and poking fun at the human condition. She’s safeguarded her words in countless notebooks and had occasional pieces published in small town newspapers.
More recently you’ll find Bee taking her observations to the stage in hopes of making others feel “in on the joke,” and a little more optimistic about the world at large. She’s delighted to be participating in Storyluck and looks forward to making a few memories, together.
This October 16th, Bee joins the Story Luck lineup for an evening built around stories, laughter, connection, and the wonderfully unpredictable experiences that make us human.
Whether you’re a longtime Story Luck regular or joining us for the first time, come ready to listen, laugh, and see the world from a slightly different perspective. Bee is bringing her words, her wit, and a few observations from that wonderfully strange place we all call life.
