The Storytelling Cowboy

Ever since I started watching Yellowstone, I’ve developed a completely unexpected appreciation for cowboys. (Can’t wait to watch more of Taylor Sheridan’s work).

So when I read Justin Radtke’s bio and saw the words Dallas Cowboys, I got disproportionately excited… only to discover this wasn’t going where I thought it was. Turns out, Justin isn’t here to rope cattle. He’s here to rope people together through music (think of Walker…Okay, enough Yellowstone references). And honestly, that’s a pretty great trade. Armed with a guitar instead of a lasso, he creates the kind of connection that lingers long after the last note is played.

Justin Radtke is a musician from Chicago who has given up all hope of being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Instead, he’s holding on to the dream of music connecting people. You can catch him fronting Turning Birds, an indie rock band playing original music. He also plays guitar and jumps around a lot in Reality Bites. Justin hopes that his music reaches people on an emotional level slightly higher than that AI picture of a cat.
