We say this every time, but we truly mean it: we get the best people.
Denise McIntosh is joining our lineup of features on June 15th, and she’s bringing with her the kind of singular voice that leaves a room a little lighter, a little funnier, and a lot more human.
Some folks live in stories. Denise lives through them—like the time she got locked in a cemetery during Covid. Or how she grew up believing White Castles were a little bit punk rock. Or the fact that she somehow manages to lead a condo board and keep meetings under an hour. (Legend status.)
She’s the kind of storyteller who makes you laugh and think in the same breath, someone whose sense of humor is grounded in lived oddity and a quiet kind of wisdom. When she quotes Oscar Wilde—“If you are not too long, I will wait here for you all my life”—you believe her. Because you’d wait to hear her stories too.
We’re thrilled to feature Denise at our June 15th potluck show. Come early, bring a dish, and settle in for an evening that promises laughter, heart, and a little bit of magic.
