We’re excited to welcome Sofia Javed to the Story Luck Potluck Show this June.
Sofia brings a sharp perspective. She is deeply personal and refreshingly authentic. She blends comedy with reflections on identity, belonging, culture, and the beautifully awkward experience of finding your place in the world.
Sofia Javed is a Chicago-based comedian, storyteller, and writer. Her humor is inspired by her life as a brown woman in America, her love of languages, and a lifetime of never fitting in.
Sofia has been a featured performer at comedy festivals across the country and has performed her debut solo show, Latchkey Larki, in New York and Chicago. Sofia co-hosts Dance of Joy: a Perfect Strangers Rewatch Podcast and is a 2026 Artist of Color Scholar at the Neo-Futurist Theater. Check her out at www.sofiajaved.com.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening of laughter, reflection, and meaningful connection as Sofia shares at the Story Luck Show. Come curious, come open, and come ready for conversations which will stay with you long after the show ends.
