How did you actually end up getting the concepts to publish “2013 Storytelling Calendar?”
Aria, a good friend of ours, made this calendar for herself, and then realized, “I did all this work collecting shows and when they play, maybe other people would like to use this calendar too.” So she posted it on a secret FB storytelling group run by Ray Teresi. And she was right. People started making requests to get on, and a couple of us offered to help her update it on the regular and now it’s a pretty well read and shared calendar for those in the live lit scene.
I use Gcalendar on my phone, and it’s nice to always have something fun to do in my back pocket. If I’m ever bored I look at the list of what’s playing and go see a cheap/free show.
We take requests all month and then update on the First Fridays. I’m not sure what her schedule is but I know people still ping her personally to get added.
